The class can become a closed, mid and long ranged class depending on the types of weapons equipped or the type of skill paths players choose to progress.
The Dragonknight is best known for heavy armor and two handed weapons in combat. However, what is best known about the class is throwing out a chain and pulling them in for an acute, swift execution.
